Brand experience starts before the purchase

Brand experience starts before the purchase

The sale starts before the form

Brand experience starts when someone compares prices, reads a review, talks to a customer, or tries to decide whether the company feels trustworthy. If the first human contact contradicts the site, the sale does not begin neutral. It begins by repairing trust.

The PwC Customer Experience Survey 2025 found that 69% of consumers say price comparison significantly influences their decision to engage with a brand. Price matters, but it does not act alone. It sits inside a chain of signals.

The break happens in service too

Marketing can attract with clarity, while support can damage the expectation in five minutes. A landing page promises consultation and the first reply is an automated message with no context. An ad promises speed and WhatsApp takes two days. A page explains the offer and sales asks the customer to explain everything again.

Customers do not call this internal misalignment. They call it a confusing company.

What content and service need to align

Start with the points most likely to create friction: main promise, response time, qualification criteria, common questions, offer limits, and next steps after contact. These items need to match across the site, CRM, service scripts, and commercial messages.

Tone comes next. The brand does not need to sound identical in every channel, but it needs the same posture: direct, responsible, and useful. If the content is consultative and the service feels rushed, the brand loses coherence.

The customer's first question is already data

Pre-sales is also research. Questions before purchase show which pages confuse people, which objections repeat, and which promises need clearer explanation. When that data stays trapped in loose conversations, marketing keeps producing content without hearing service.

A simple process helps: classify inbound questions by topic, record objections in the CRM, and review page copy monthly based on what customers actually asked.
